I admit that I'm such a superficial person who love to see beautiful garments and beautiful people, and who've just finished watching the "Project Runway" season 4.

The final three are truly the strongest among season one to four, and those clothes are amazing.

Julilian Lewis's collection are very wearable and stylish, achieved a certain level, but still lack some thing that can make it "explode" 

 

The collection of Rami Kashou is really good to look at or I should say comfortable to look at, the whole feeling is right, but on the other hand, be right sometimes can mean be boring, for the truth is one can hardly sense the excitment in stuff that labeled with "right","nice" or "fine".

Anyhow, things becoming different when I see  Christian Siriano's models come out, that's drama! Every piece of the garment are screaming out aloud who is designer behind of it, those clothes have more soul than anyothers. Though there is also some feeling of "Christian Dior" sparied on them, and sometimes can be over-dramatic, one can still assume that Christian Siriano did a impressive job! He deserved to be the winner!

去年的事了，今天才知道的。

伤心了好久，上帝怎么这样？

 

We sleep under the sunshine.

We talk through the eye.

Coffee, cigarettes, alcohol and cocaine are the full meaning of our whole life.

People say, you should wake up, buddy, coz life is such a beauty dream.

But how can we dream when not fall asleep?

Haha, we don't believe such kind of lie. 

We are not that strong, you know.

Not strong enough to open our eyes.

We are afraid, afraid the reality would destroy our mind. 

因为脆弱，所以依赖，因为依赖，所以美丽。

朦胧的眼神潜伏着一点点沧桑，一点点稚气，但更多的是空洞。

头发随意的乱待着，蓬松的，发丝间闻得到烟草的味道。

骨架单薄，皮肤苍白而干燥。

在喝当天的第六杯咖啡，握着杯子的手指开始微微发抖。

午后的阳光洒在桃木桌上，却趋不走倦意。

只觉得太阳太刺眼，刺眼到看不到希望。

绝望吗？

不，绝望太艳丽，而虚无就像是白雾，承受不起多余的色彩。

但是，没有关系。

至少无聊的脆弱正在流行…… 

Let’s talk about fashion!

The artists are coming this season, everyone put all the colors on their dresses, hats, bags and shoes to make them looks like walking palettes. The designers are dying to put their models into every great painter’s works, so that they can sign their own names on them.

 

In fashion history, 1920s belongs to Chanel, 1940s belongs to Dior, 1960s is the world of MaryQuant, 1980s is the big stage of “Madonnas”, but what about now? What we have created? What’s “the look” of this century?

 

Maybe just recreate the antecessor’s creations? Prolong Vincent Van Gogh’s life but forget the designer him self’s. Fashion now is in a very dangerous loop circle, like the “repeat” button on player, once designers have nothing new in his mind, all he can do is press it, so that everything can keep going, on the old route. We can’t simply blame on those poor designers, because it’s the industry which force them to do this meaningless kee-jerk work, designers are not artists, true artists work to please themselves, good designers work to please his costumers. And fashion is not merely something beautiful and exciting, it’s an industry, a business that need to be kept running. Though I doubt the meaning of nowadays fashion, I would never doubt that the fashion has a future, because fashion is all about flow, flow forward and flow back.

 

But I also see some spark light in today’s fashion design—the eco-friendly design! This concept has been used in every field, and the “I’m not a plastic bag” has first draw something green on fashion’s canvas. So we can put our eyes on it, anyway, this century has just began!
